Alexander Panfilov has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious halls, such as Carnegie Hall NY, Moscow Philharmonie, Tonhalle Zurich, Musikverein Vienna, as well as in the leading British venues such as Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall and Birmingham Town Hall. As a soloist, he appeared with such orchestras as Royal Philharmonic, Liverpool Philharmonic, La Verdi Orchestra Milan, Belarussian State Philharmonic, Carlo Coccia Orchestra, City of Granada Orchestra, and Manchester Camerata; he worked with conductors Brian Wright, Alessandro Ferrari, Paul Mann, Carlo Tenan, Andrei Galanov, and Vasily Petrenko, amongst others. His performances were broadcasted for radio BBC 3 and Classic FM. He is a winner of numerous International Piano Competitions, including the recent Premio Jaen, as a top prize and best Spanish music performance prize winner, and most recently, Rina Sala Gallo International Piano Competition, as 1st and audience prize winner. Alexander recorded and is soon releasing a debut CD for Naxos label, that includes music by Mussorgsky, Debussy, Albeniz, and Seco de Arpe.
